Favorite Book: Five Enchanted Roses

Favorite Craft: Still knitting that blanket :)

Favorite Magazine: Country Living UK

June Faves!

Hello all!  Here are some of my favorite things from this past month, enjoy!

Favorite App: Spotify

Favorite blog: The Clothes Horse

Favorite TV Show: Doctor Who (I even got my grandparents into it!)

Favorite Music Artist: Norah Jones

Favorite Movie: Les Miserables (I finally saw it!)

Favorite Book: The Green Ember by S.D. Smith

Favorite Craft: Knitting this blanket (couldn't find the pattern, but basically you start from the corner of the blanket and increase one stitch with each row.  Once you finish the first ball (the blanket will look like a big triangle) you start the second ball and decrease one stitch with each row until you finish the last corner.  You then block it and do a decorative border if you so desire)

Favorite Clothing Piece: This tunic from Target

Favorite Magazine: Mollie Makes (This issue here, #49, is free on their app!)

Favorite Drink: Panera's Caffe Latte

Caffe Latte

Favorite Place to Visit: Downtown Greenville (the Falls Park is amazing!)

Falls Park view from bridge

Favorite Shop: Spill the Beans

Favorite Food: French Macarons

Did you like this post?  Let me know!  I might do some more in the future :)

Senior Pictures!

Ta-da!  My senior pictures!  I know it's been a while, but I wanted to wait until I was closer to graduating :D

Let me tell you, it's the most amazing feeling to know that when I come home from work I don't have a pile of homework waiting for me.  I am really going to enjoy this summer!  BWSC is only a few weeks away, and I highly encourage anyone who is interested to check it out: http://www.westminsterkpt.org/bwsc/

More blog posts (hopefully) coming soon!

Bits and Pieces

So life has been busy, to say the least.  Every day is full to the brim with work of different kinds only to be saved with a cup of tea, coffee, or hot chocolate.  Poirot has become a great afternoon read (when my afternoons are free) and Pinterest has been most helpful during class breaks in keeping me awake.  I've realized that comfy, fuzzy robes are most delightful and that a clean desk takes a lot off of my mind.  Being grateful for hundreds of things has shown me just how much my heavenly Father loves this weak, little child.  So here's just a few of the bits and pieces of my little, hobbit life.

How I've been

'ello everyone!  It has been a long time since I have last wrote, but school, finals, and holidays tend to fill up a lot of time :P  So to catch all of you up here is list of new things that have happened in the past few months:
~I turned 19!  This is my last year as a teenager, pretty interesting to think about.

~I've completed my first real college semester, and survived.

~I've fallen in love with the Doctor Who series.  No joke, I'm an official Whovian now!

~I've been reading Agatha Christie's Poirot, it is very good (though in my opinion, Agatha Christie copied Sherlock Holmes quite a bit).

~I discovered My Neighbor Totoro and loved it!  My brother even got me a Totoro plushie for Christmas :)

~I watched the last Hobbit movie, and was disappointed with everything except Martin Freeman's performance.  He is a wonderful hobbit.

~Gray is a new favorite color.  Especially in chunky knit sweaters.

~I watched the Lizzie Bennet Diaries and loved it very much (I recommend it for 16 and over, Lydia and Wickam's escapades had to be modernized for this generation).

~I have learned that stone angels can be very scary things.

~I am having my senior pictures done tomorrow!  I will let you all see once I get the pictures back :D

~Big Hero 6 is a new favorite Marvel movie.

~Peppermint Mocha Frappuccinos from Starbucks are delicious.

~Pentatonix's Christmas album was my favorite Black Friday deal :)

So that is what my life has been full of in the past few months.  School starts up on the 7th (can I hear a long resounding nooooooo!), but it should be alright.  Hope you all have had a great holiday season and have a happy new year!
